The food was abundant and equally delicious. I had the Shrimp & Grits and the hubby had the Fish & Chips. So flavorful, just a hint of heat/spice on the shrimp and the grits were perfect. The fish was done to perfection with a beautiful crisp coating that was not greasy at all. Service was fantastic, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Thank you for a great beginning to our afternoon. Definitely will be back again.

Looking for a place to lunch in Burlington on a Monday, we happened upon The Union House. Apparently there is an oyster special on Mondays but I am not a fan. I am glad I ordered a Reuben. It was very generous and oozed with flavor—salty corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, gooey swiss with thousand island dressing all sandwiched between two hearty slices of rye. Rather than fries, I chose the side salad with a lemon thyme dressing. It added a lightness to the meal. Service was good and prices were reasonable. The menu was not large but I want to return and sample other options.

This place has yet to disappoint! It's so good every time we go! All of their chicken dishes I've had so far are moiste and flavorful!

Busy and lively bar and restaurant. Servers were friendly. Fun atmosphere. My husband and I ordered burgers, they were medium but the edges were black and over done, middle was medium. Maybe burgers stayed on stove a bit too long. Next time I will order medium rare. The restaurant was very busy with Xmas parties so I understand it was busy. For dessert we shared a brownie Sundae with delicious espresso gelato, YUM!! Will be back to try their other offerings.

What immediately stood out about this restaurant was the incredible atmosphere and of course the gorgeous brick walls to give it a bit of extra character. I was also impressed with the menu here and loved that it featured items that I don’t usually see often - such as the fried green tomatoes and ricotta toast.

A really cool spot. The service was great and very friendly. The food was all you could ask for from a bar environment. Definitely worth to check it out.

What happens to an old Firehouse? Well these folks turned into a restaurant & bar. We stopped by to check it out, staff was pleasant, responsive, place was clean an orderly, friendly, as well as helpful. The beverage menu was pretty much good IPA's, with limited domestic 's available as well, along with a list of wine's too. There are soft beverage's, available. As is the case with many restaurants the menu is somewhat limited, but the food is delicious. We had the Bacon Burger with blue cheese and fries, and the Rigatoni with Mushrooms and tomato and we were very satisfied. For dessert we had the Tart's filled with Chocolate and fresh strawberries with whipped cream, they were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed this place. If you're ever in Burlington, you should give them a try, you'll be glad you did, Enjoy!

We came for brunch and arrived at around 2pm on a Sunday. They appeared to have a full house but we were seated immediately. The waitress came by as soon as we sat to say hello. 2 minutes later someone (possibly a manager) came to explain the table had to been wiped down prior to us being seated so he asked us to get up so he could wipe and sanitize it. I thought it was nice of him to still do this after we were seated because we would not have even realized it. Our waitress was very nice. We ordered and everything tasted good. The French onion soup wasn't very traditional tasting but it tasted good in its own way. The Monte Cristo was very good, wings were plump and juicy. The challah French toast with the apples was great. I'll be coming back here again to try some other items off of the menu. Service was great, the atmosphere was nice and I enjoyed the food and drinks.
